Safaris & Campfires

Discover our beautiful conservation farm then relax around your private campfire, cooking a delicious meal in your tranquil corner of the farm.

Our Trails.

Our nature and wildlife safaris allow you to follow discreetly marked trails of varied lengths around our 300 acre farm, made up of wild meadows and ancient woodland. The routes have been designed for you to discover the best of our conservation and preservation. From butterflies to bats, owls to orchids the farm is buzzing, and you may also see Long-horn cattle, Tamworth pigs and Romney sheep (helping us with our conservation by grazing our land) along the way. Our audio download can help you engage with our farm and our conservation.

Campfires.

End your safari at your personal campfire spot. We will cater for you with a home-prepared meal of salads and meats to be cooked over wood, or provide you with a site to cook your campfire food for yourself. This is a chance to relax and reconnect, surrounded only by birds, insects, animals and plants. Collect extra firewood for toasting marshmallows or stretch out and marvel at the beauty that surrounds you while your sausages sizzle. (We are currently not providing chairs or picnic rugs, please bring your own!)

For Children.

We have created a scavenger hunt to accompany our trails to keep our younger guests interested and educated. Trail lengths also vary and interconnect so we can cater for different attention spans and leg lengths! Our farm is unlike most countryside you will have enjoyed before and our campfires allow your little people a real feeling of engagement with the outdoors, as well as being really fun!

“We loved cooking over the fire - it was so much more fun than a traditional picnic, and our son adored toasting the marshmallows”
