Jesse Bax

Jesse Bax created, developed and launched Into the Wild against a backdrop of Corona virus in 2020 and runs the business day to day. Having been a family visitor to Moat Farm for over 20 years, Jesse has seen first hand its ecological evolution and development. Moving to a small farm herself in 2019 she is working with her husband and their children to revive and restore this natural environment so that it can, in the future, be part of Into The Wild. Jesse’s background in interior design and styling have shaped the events business, combined with the passion and the energy needed to get a small business off the ground.

Jan Bax

Jan and Mike Bax bought Moat Farm in 1987 and have combined their love of naturalism and conservation in the lifelong project of restoring and protecting the farm’s natural habitats. Working tirelessly to maintain and manage the farm, Jan hopes that Into The Wild will protect it’s future - engaging people in the environmental struggle that takes place on our own doorsteps each day, each year.

Jan's flocks of sheep and herds of cows are now a small herd of beautiful Longhorn cattle. The commitment to healthy, well-loved, free-range animals is paramount and at the helm of her holistic farming ethos and process.

“We are focused on creating a lasting legacy to ensure the long term safety of the natural world at Moat Farm.”
